RxSafe was featured on West Marin’s “Epicenter” program: http://kwmr.org/broadcasts/39764. Anita and Karrie Groves (County EMS organizer) advertised last Saturday’s Don’t Miss a Beat sidewalk event (in its 12^th year, now with 12 locations) for CPR, Stop the Bleed, and Narcan training. A total of 1,235 Marinites were trained!

This was by far the biggest Narcan distribution and training ever for RxSafe Marin. Anita ran more Narcan to Mill Valley, Novato and Larkspur when they ran out of stashes (60 boxes each). Karrie said that Narcan was the biggest draw to the tables, far ahead of Hands-only CPR and First Aid. We hope to make this an annual collaboration.
