RxSafe Marin is sustained partly through grant funding. The coalition is fortunate to be part of the California Opioid Safety Network (COSN), which provides the most current opioid information and tools to strengthen our work with other coalitions statewide. The last COSN convening for 2019 was attended by our AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers. The focus of the workshops was long-term sustainability and how grant writing can be a key component of coalitions’ success. RxSafe will continue to scan for and apply for relevant grant opportunities to advance our progress.
